Hey there! I'm Matt, a multi-disciplinary product designer passionate about understanding people's challenges and crafting design solutions through playful experimentation and hands-on making. Whether I'm meditating or nerding out on project details, curiosity fuels both my work and life.
In recent years, my focus has been on exploring the transformative potential of immersive technologies and game engines to revolutionize the design process. This has led me to create immersive interactive experiences, enhance and innovate industry-changing VR creation/collaboration tools, and expedite concept evaluation through real-time digital/physical prototyping.
Throughout this journey, I've acquired a diverse skill set encompassing C# coding, Arduino programming, VR sketching, 3D animation & rigging, SubD modeling, 3D texturing, Unity/Unreal development, material shader coding, UI/UX design, user-centered research and discovery, systems design, and more. Now, I'm eager to integrate these skills with my extensive hands-on making experience to take on a broader range of projects and solve problems that can genuinely improve people's lives.
Outside of work, I'm always on the hunt for new passions and growth. You'll catch me quad roller skating, throwing pottery, playing pickleball, cruising on a skateboard, exploring Buddhism, juggling or listening to podcasts.
